The Gosford Glyphs were not especially difficult to find, however, be aware that there are no signposts and it requires a little bit of searching - Google Maps put us in the close vicinity. The glyphs themselves were interesting to have a look at and...More

Well, we last visited this amazing, unique place over 14 years ago. This time we found instructions on You Tube to find the spot because a huge rock has slipped across the entrance and effectively hidden it. Gorgeous walk in and out, and special place...More

Mysterious glyphs that pose questions about their origin are only a small part of this must do bush walk on top of the hill. Interesting rock formations, beautiful and interesting topography and vegetation. Highly recommend some time out with nature here.

Please don't touch or take anything from here. This is one of the most sacred places in Australia. Above the Hieroglyphs is the full story. Look for fossils. Truly amazing.

An easy walk long the fire trails and a little climb up a hill then squeeze through a small opening, will find you in a crevice adorned with the heiroglyphs. All up about 15-20min journey one way. I was amazed at the number of images...More

This is an amazing site. Very well hidden. I had almost given up on finding the hieroglyphics, when there they were. The small canyOn wall is full of ancient Egyptian symbols. It is a very special place.

No they aren’t. It’s sandstone. Carvings wouldn’t last in sandstone for over a thousand years. It’s called entropy, look it up.
