Stopped in to get the best view of canberra!

I can remember coming to Telstra Tower when I was a kid at school. It seemed heaps bigger there. The view is still great and I forgot how cold it can get at the top on the outside... read more

Yes, the views ARE great and put Canberra and surrounds all into perspective but is that enough? The interior is very tired and the information video has not been updated since the original some 40 odd years earlier and the displays are just disappointing. Cafe is underwhelming and so underutilised and the continued closure of the restaurant is an oddity.... More

This could be so much better! The information needs to tell you what specifically you are looking at. We were intending the visit the restaurant on level 2 for dinner however it's was closed for renos or something (no signage in the foyer or elevator) so didn't find out until we'd paid.

If you're going up here at night make sure you wear your beanie and a big, warm jacket it was freezing but the views were amazing. We were intending the visit the restaurant on level 2 for dinner however it's was closed for renos or something (no signage in the foyer or elevator) so didn't find out until we'd paid.

The Telstra Tower provides an excellent 360 degree view of the city and surrounds. There are three viewing platforms - the inside one is well documented and signs and pictures above show what you are looking at. Visits years ago, however had better illustrations showing what one was looking at. The outside viewing areas (at two levels) provide good opportunities... More

This could be so much better! The information needs to tell you what specifically you are looking at. And the sandwiches tasted stale, probably because of the type of container they are kept in in the fridge.

Amazing views ...only $7.50 but once you are up there you can stay as long as you like, enjoy the views , and have a coffee or a snack, best to go when it is a clear day or you won't see very much

Great spot to visit and worth it! Not expensive to go to the top, you can see everything in Canberra and it's just a wonderful place to visit! Won't take up too much of your day to visit here. Lots of parking available and right next to the botanic gardens! Highly recommend the visit!

Yes, Telstra Tower is a little out dated, and could use a freshen up, and yes, it is unfortunate that the restaurant isn't currently running, but it is worth the $7.50 just for the views. There is also a little cafe and gift shop on the indoor viewing platform. If you want even higher up views, you can go to... More

It was once somewhere I would always take visitors to Canberra but now it's so out-dated and expensive I don't see the point! you can get some great shots up there and it helps to show how huge Canberra is but it's time to make it more visitor friendly!
