The Well of the Seven Heads is a historic monument on the shore of the beautiful Loch Oich, that tells the gruesome tale of a ancient fued here in the glen. You'll find the Lochside Larder just across the road, our family run business. We offer a general store with a delicious extra: we make delicious home baking and tasty snacks, all to be taken away and enjoyed. We stock basic groceries and essentials such as bread and milk, freezer food, ice-cream, newspapers and alcohol. Free wifi, mobile top ups, stamps and cashback are available too! Enjoy your snacks in our beautiful picnic area with its stunning views of Loch Oich.

Yes you saw correct. It’s seven heads and a dagger......as driving along Loch Oich. The monument was erected in 1812 in recognition of a vengeance massacre within a Highland Clan in 1663. Best you google the story behind the massacre yourself and consider the lawlessness...More

Bit of a chance find. Coffee and a sausage sandwich just what I needed. Nice selection of home bakes and treated ourselves to a few bits and pieces from the shop. Venison chorizo highly recommended!
