Even though it is hard to get there, this island is just wonderful, with its pristine and mostly empty beaches, its kind and happy people and the tasty local food.

Definetely a must-go if you're in Boipeba or nearby. The water is warm and calm. If you're ever there, wait for night time and contemplate the sky while in the ocean. You'll love it!

Lovely, quiet part of the island. To get here you have to take a tractor from Velho Boipeba - it takes around 20 mins. It's a great base as you can walk to the best beaches in the island (Boinema and castelhanos) also there is...More

Pros: on the low tide, you can ride a canoo or small boat to see amazing natural pools with amazing fishes.. Cons: lots of people come from the nearby Morro de São Paulo island on big boats and kind of ruin the setting..

A lively town on the beach between forest and sea tides. Possible to reach by tractor or on foot walking along the beach from Boipeba.

Beautiful beach with a nice baracca where you can get a cold beer or a fresh coconut. Watch out for low tide - it can be that the sea goes away ;)

The piscinas naturais de morere are a very nice place to visit. You have a beautiful view over the ocean and it is a nice location to snorkel. The negative point is, that the place is crowded with tourists. A lot of speedboats gather there...More

Velha Boipeba is more or less an 1h30-2hs walk from Boipeba, but you can only walk through when the tide is low. It is a lovely walk! If you prefer, you can get a "truck" from Old Boipeba tô Moreré - that Will take you 20-30... More
