Lovely, quiet part of the island. To get here you have to take a tractor from Velho Boipeba - it takes around 20 mins. It's a great base as you can walk to the best beaches in the island (Boinema and castelhanos) also there is a beach to the left with lots of restaurants and bars (locals call it gringo... More

Pros: on the low tide, you can ride a canoo or small boat to see amazing natural pools with amazing fishes.. Cons: lots of people come from the nearby Morro de São Paulo island on big boats and kind of ruin the setting..

A lively town on the beach between forest and sea tides. Possible to reach by tractor or on foot walking along the beach from Boipeba.

Morere's water are clear and warm! It's an enchanting place! Perfect for relaxing and getting away from the rush of the big cities. The trip to get there is a bit long and exhausting parting from Salvador and many places don't take credit/debit cards, but it's all absolutely worth it!

I have travelled to many places. This beach is number two after Los Roques.... Water is almost hot. It feels like you are in a Jacuzzi facing a jungle. Easy to reach by tractor or motorcycle taxi from the center (Vila) of Boipeba with a fun jungle ride.

Beautiful beach with a nice baracca where you can get a cold beer or a fresh coconut. Watch out for low tide - it can be that the sea goes away ;)

The piscinas naturais de morere are a very nice place to visit. You have a beautiful view over the ocean and it is a nice location to snorkel. The negative point is, that the place is crowded with tourists. A lot of speedboats gather there to let their tourists have a swim. This spoils the ocean with beer cans, plastic... More

We had a wonderful time at the beach. Silent and lovely. We got there with a boat and made a trip to different beaches. This was the best for us.

It's a very nice beach, I'm just a bit picky. It's a very calm beach ideal for kids since the tides get very low.

Morere is today what Boipeba old town was probably like 10-15 years ago. A small village with sand streets and a few nice pousadas ( and one swanky hotel) right next to the most amazing beaches you could expect to find off the coast of Brazil. Only things missing are surfing waves but instead you have a coral and amazing... More
