A well presented volunteer led museum with internal and external exhibits. A good focus on local RAF operations which is really interesting. Café refurb planned which is needed, but tbh the overall impression is excellent. Enthusiasts will love it, kids will enjoy it, and "civilians"...More

fab day out , not very well advertised locally we just happened on it in passing and saw the tail of the Vulcan from the road , well worth a visit , really professional staff and nice relaxed feeling to the place,

We visited the museum for the 1940s weekend event and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of exhibits and aircraft to see and read about. Many of the ones outside are huuuuuge.

What an amazing place. Make sure to go on a day when the Vulcan is open as it is spectacular. Also leave plenty of time as there Is a lot to take in. Overall a great place with a lot of history!

The charge £1, I think and you'll have a 30 minute talk from a Vulcan pilot who was very informative and charismatic. Please visit, it a great museum, extremely well run
