We were welcomed with a beaming smile from Nora on arrival, made to feel perfectly at home. We took the tour and 5 wine tasting for €12 and thought this excellent value. A small tapas accompanied the wine, as well as water for palate cleansing....More

Thank you, Trevor, for taking the time to review us. We hope you will visit again!
We arrived by taxi after visiting Argostoli to a small lovely garden seating area with verandas.
Nora gave us a great welcome and sat us down in the shade to sample wines with a board of bread, cheese, tomatoes and local olive oil - we...More
We went for wine tasting and it was very nice! We met Nora who is the girl in charge for the tasting. Very beautiful and friendly place. We had 7 different types of wine and We had the chance of buying 2 bottles of their...More
Easy to find; friendly and willing staff. The ‘tour’ must at best be small, and when they’re busy can’t happen. But the tastings were good and very reasonably priced. We spent a very happy hour or so. You do need a driver, or be prepared...More

I'm really into wine tasting so I decided to take a few tours. I went to Sclavos Winery and Gentilini.
This winery is beautiful, the hosts extremely knowledgeable and polite, really enthusiastic about their product.
The tour of the vineyard and the cellars and then...More
Wow, what a place. Tried a wide variety of local wine in a fabulous tranquil setting. Nora was perfectly knowledgeable and guided us through the delectables. The bread cheese and nibbles was amazing. What a way to begin a Kefalonia trip!
This vineyard has a wine tasting approach which is different from most. You pay Euro 5 or more depending on how many wines you'd like to try, but for that consideration, you enjoy a talk through the wine, and some lovely cheese and bread, olive...More

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time at Gentilini. Our wines are in the upper price bracket as we are a boutique winery which strives for quality over quantity, and which is why our wines are exported all over the world. We...More
