First thing I'm a good long term skier but not a racer or a competitive skier. If you are looking for a competitive club this is your 5 star location. Great facilities, good waxing hut, good changing area, washrooms, restaurant etc. You will find some of the best skiers in southern Ontario here. Horseshoe Valley has a microclimate that delivers... Hardwoos Ski & Bike consistently provides an excellent cross-country skiing experience with a variety of well-groomed trails of all levels, friendly, knowledgeable staff, a spacious cafeteria and a ski shop. Classic and skate skiing lessons and ample parking are available. The drive from Toronto is about 1.5 hrs.

Never skied or snowshoe before but always wanted to try it so it was our very first time. Registration was easy, you do have to fill out a special ski/snowshoe form. Were send to get our snowshoes fitted. The lady provided us with snowshoes and gave us directions how to put them on and close them properly however I wish... More

Enjoyed my annual snowshoe excursion at this place and was impressed not only by the trails but the great service from the chalet staff! We used an all day package which included rentals of the snow shoes and trails. The weather was perfect and while the place looked busy, the trails were surprisingly lean with hikers as I think many... More

I am an avid mountain biker and x country skier. Hardwood Hills is absolutely the best for both disciplines. A lot of changes have been made in the last year and it is on its way to being a world class facility. Try it. You won't be sorry.

There were three of us (35 yrs - 63 yrs old) heading out for our first time on snowshoes. It was an amazing experience. The trails were beautifully groomed after a fairly substantial snowfall. It was so quiet and peaceful and just as advertised, if you can walk, you can snowshoe! The trails were well marked and overall, it was... More

My wife had wanted to be outdoors on her birthday to appreciate the fall colour, while having an exciting adventure and our experience at Hardwood Segway Tours couldn't have been anymore perfect. Kyle and Devon, our guides, were witty and light-hearted, while the colours through the forest trails made the trees look like the were in fire. Even with some... More

I've been skiing on and off at Hardwood for about 12 years now and it's always consistently good skiing. The grooming is terrific and there are lots of ups and downs on the trails which makes it interesting and quite a workout. Nice variation of trails especially now that Hardwood got the Meadowlands trail back. Very good pro shop as... More

We were at Hardwood Hills on July 23rd for the Epic 8-Hour Mountain Bike races and we had a great time. I love their property and how family-friendly it is. The entire event was put on very well, it was very well organized and the staff at the store were nice and helpful as always. We love riding at Hardwood... More
