Birds, lizards, wallabies, fish and buffaloe abound in this park and I did not see a single other vehicle or person.
30 Whistling Kites were the first surprise as I drove past a loop of Scotts Creek they flew out and around me then whirled up into the thermals. I stopped at the Scotts Creek crossing and walke downstream to see a freshie croc and thousands of birds and millions (literally) of fish travelling the creek. Sitting there I saw nature in action as Kites stole fish from a Heron, birds swooped and waded etc.
So many varieties of birds incl jabiru and pelicans.
I visited all the billabongs along the way in the park seeing mobd if redtailed black cockies, butterflies, lizards and more!!
During the dry I understand the creek dries up but for now it was a fabulous exp.
