I had taken special permission to trek inside the forest along the fire-lines. It was a very thrilling and rugged experience. I saw varities of snakes, lemurs and birds.

This is a reserve forest near Golaghat. Little far from main area and need not be visited as there is nothing special.

This place is not open for tourist anymore after an accident a few years back. One cannot trek inside the forest anymore as mentioned in a lot of websites or blogs. For more info you can visit kazirangatours. com

The Panbari Reserve Forest is closed for tourists. However, if you wish to trek, you can go to Burapahar range and trek.

Panbari Forest is near to Kaziranga Park. The forest is a good place for Bird watchers. Trees are full of different types of nests. Exotic birds like Great Indian Hornbill can be easily seen in the forest. Other birds which can be spotted are speckled piculet and pied Falconet etc.
