Managed by Bengal govt..One of the major dams in the state of Jharkhand.Good sight seeing.Boat ride,hill climbing can be enjoyed.With family hotels.

We went there for a day visit. It is mainly a picnic sopt having a small and cute river and a very big dam. Small wooded hillocks are the added attraction of this place. Viwe from the hill top irrigation guest house is simply stunning.

The weather and the road to go to Massanjore is just awesome. You will go through a jungle from Darjeeling more to Jharkhand Border..

Massanjore Dam also know as Canada Dam built on the river Mayurakshi. A nice for tracking, bird watch, and spend quality time family.

Hello Sourav, I never been stay at Massanjore, you can prefer to stay at Dumka or Suri and from there you can plan a day trip to the Massanjore Dam. Regards, Ashish
