To begin with, we actually saw that big ship from Dil Chahta hai. The fort is at a hilltop and it is a task to get up there. A small trek indeed. The annoying thing is that it is not maintained well, there is a lot of plastic waste around. Preferably visit around 6pm when it's less hot and about... More

360 view of Goa can be seen from here! Perfect for clicking awesome snaps. We had to do a little trek as stairs were not operational. But the view was worth it. Go in evenings.

The Fort with spectacular view of the Arabian sea.. From the fort, we can see Vagator beach and Chapora beach on either side. It requires treking to reach the fort.. If its a suny day, its gonna be a challenge to climb up the hill

Here you go to look at the fort and on how to look from it. The view of the sea at sunset is amazing from this fort. Daily many tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

My partner and I visited here after reading in out guide book. We enjoyed locating the fort and it has fantastic views to Northern Goa and along the coast. Worth the short climb uphill to reach the fort.

If one is a nature buff and does not mind a steep climb of 15 minutes to a hill top with an old fort in ruins, then Chapora Fort is a place to visit. The views of Vagator Beach and Chapora River are absolutely amazing and with the wind blowing across , the experience is a disctint one in itself.

The fort offers beautiful view of the sea and vagator beach. however, the climb to the fort is steep and the road is rough. Work is in progress for building a pucca road.

The view from the top is amazing. It is a uphill climb of 10-15 mins, ensure to wear shoes when u visit here. The climb is definitely worth as the views from top are very nice. Best time to visit is at Sunset around 6 pm. And this does not closes before sunset.

As it is from Dil Chahta Hai, it is good for photography. But as for fort there not so much. The fort is in bits and parts and the view from it is quite good. I would not recommend it in summer if you have other good things to do. There is a bit climb and in hot summer it... More
