With views over to Dunstanburgh castle and wide stretches of golden sand this beach is glorious! A great pub close by too, and one a short walk away- what's not to like??

Great beach to visit with a small but busy pub on the village green. Parking can get busy at peak times.

Stopped by here after many years. New car park + no access to court yard where pub used to be. Anyway down to the beach. Lovely long beach always looks quiet, even in high season.

Every day we go to a great beach in Northumberland and think I can't be bettered. The next day we find another! This is a lovely dog friendly beach with loads of space and stunning views. And a lovely pub too.

A must-visit when in the area. The beach is long and un-spoilt as well as dog friendly. The cottages are quaint and pretty and the pub is a must visit!!!!

It's our third visit to Northumberland but our first to Low Newton By the Sea. What a gem, the beach is inspiring, so much so I am intent on booking a week...

A very interesting and historic location. Good value car parking outside the village but suspect it will get busy at times. Ship Inn very good. Looks to be a high level of holiday home provision - a shame in a way but suspect a hazard...More
