    Excellent tour and tasting
We had a great time taking a tour of this winery with a very knowledgeable guide on everything wine. The tasting was also excellent with several glasses of wine that mirror what you learned in the tour of the different ways of fermenting - all of which you can distinctly taste. Theres a gift shop where you can purchase wines and chacha.

Kind of stiff tour and tasting, but nice place to visit nevertheless
More like a factory than a traditional winery, although they do have some kvareli pots too. The guide did now english, but was very stiff and did not care what we said to her, just stick to her script. The tasting was quick and dirty kind of tasting, but good wines. Would not look any kind of nice experience here, but it was nice to see a proper factory in addition to the more traditional vineyards.

Хорошие вина и мороженое. Есть возможность многое увидеть, в том числе конвейер. Но для этого надо приехать не слишком поздно. Good wines and ice cream. There is an opportunity to see a lot, including the conveyor. But for this you need to arrive not too late.

This is not the first time we have visited Kakheti and this winery, the last time was before the pandemic, now an excursion with tasting - 8 GEL/person (2 white wines (Rkatsiteli and Kisi) + 2 red wines (Saperavi and Kindzmarauli). New locations at the plant, tour guide (I don’t know their name) - nice woman, speaks excellent Russian, immediately asked where we were from :-) The excursion with tasting went as standard, as at other factories (Khareba, KTW, etc.) - without delay, because it was set on tourist flow for many years.

BUT, a retreat, if you need a Georgian soul in a tasting and the pleasure of communicating with a Georgian family and hospitality, then it’s better for you to visit Aunt Nunu and Misha at “Numisi” in the village of Valistsikhe (25 GEL excursion with tasting) in advance.
If you want Georgian hospitality and a tasting of 10 types of wine, then you should go to the Graneli factory (near Khareba) in the store of this factory there is a unique wine with a branded design, not mass bottled, at low prices - 20-40 lari. Graneli is a beautiful area, hotel, restaurant, George is like the business card and soul of Graneli, we always come to him))).

There is a cafe on the territory of the Kindzmarauli plant; try ice cream with wine 16/16 - delicious, unusual. Also, there are many locations for photos on the territory, a clean toilet, the store has a good selection of wine at excellent prices - this is a plus for Kindzmarauli. The chacha and wine on tap are of excellent quality; the price for bottled wine is lower than in Khareba and some other factories. Although prices, of course, have almost doubled compared to pre-pandemic times.
Then, on the way out, I saw a sign at the checkout “free tasting for Ukrainians”, I was very surprised - why humiliate the Ukrainian people like that? They were compared to someone with disabilities, the poor, or some kind of defective people - is 8 lari really money? Only pity and resentment for the Ukrainians, I was even ready to pay for some needy Ukrainian so that he would drink for free. The plant management probably wanted the best, but the way it turned out was pathetic and humiliating.
As a result, if you plan to bring wine home, then you should definitely come here - the store has a good selection and prices. You can just walk around the territory and take photos - it's free. You don’t have to take the tasting and excursion if you have already been to other factories - everything is the same, nothing new. The heart of Georgia is not here. Kindzmarauli is just a business.

To be honest, i'm not really a wine person but am glad i visited this winery. There is a guided tour of the winery with a brief intro of the wine making process, followed by wine tasting. We tasted the semi sweet wine, rose and red wine. They also have sweet wine which is real sweet. At the end of the tour, i bought 2 bottles of sweet wine and 1 rose wine for <50 lari.

I was familiar with one of their wines beforehand (and it's my favorite wine), so I was really looking forward to seeing where the magic happens and tasting more wines. And I was not disappointed! Our tour guide Mari and tasting guide Natya were great! They explained everything in (pretty decent) English, and answered all our questions. I really enjoyed all the wines in the tasting and can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Our group of 11 went on a guided tour through the winery. The firms's wine guide was rather impersonal and her talk given by rote. Winery produces over 40 varieties of wine, many in large quantities by conventional methods in stainless steel tanks, but some wines were produced in traditional large qvervi. The tasting area was "very ordinary". We were given a plate of cheese and four wines, 2 being white & 1 dry & 1 sweet red. We also tasted some other wines in the shop area. None of us were very impressed with the wines we were offered. (We had much better wines offered to us at other smaller wineries in Georgia, where service was also much more personal). We were entertained by 5 male singers wearing period costume and playing on traditional instruments. We also enjoyed their polyphonic singing very much. This entertainment was the best part of the visit.

I didn't know about the qveri containers and the history of wine-making in Georgia. It is a good introduction to the process.
