    Very professional
I am not a great fan of group tours in wineries, but Khareba does it exceptionally well. It is true, you have to wait a while until they gather enough people in your language, it is cold in the tunnel and you only get a few sips. But our tour guide was passionate and very professional ; he made sure we had a good understanding of the qvevri process. I was then taken to the vineyards, where a delightful young lady got me to pick a bucket of grapes, which I then trampled by foot while a traditional male choir belted out a Georgian song. All good fun and a memorable experience !

    Comprehensive and unique tour/wine tasting
On the tour, you will learn so much about the traditional wine making process in Georgia (and the traditions still carried on today). Informative and knowledgeable staff guide you and can ask any questions you may have. Upon arrival we had the privilege of a Georgian folk performance welcoming us. Going into the tunnels is a little chilly but they offer blankets to wrap up in for the walk. We tasted a few wines with cheese, bread, and grape seed oil which is also produced here. Excellent tour and experience! Be sure to buy a bottle of wine to take home on your way out.

Best tasting experience on our trip
Very nice tasting experience. They had good selection of cheeses and nuts and good bread to accompany and a funny and chatty guide that actually knew how to speak english to the guest s too, not just read the script. Wines were good and the tunnel environment was quite unique. They also have a nice, a bit expensive in Kvareli standards, restaurant upstairs.

A total, impersonal tourist set up, with tasting of very ordinary wines. It's a waste of time and money. Don't bother!

Quite an amazing place. We had a tour of the tunnels which included a tasting session of the wine and the chacha. There was also a bbq tasting session at the end.

As part of our group tour we stayed for lunch too which was in the restaurant up the hill - taken there by a large golf buggy.

An absolute pleasure to arrive at this scenic winery and we were greeted with song. There are lots of options you can choose from to enjoy your experience here, we had a tour and tasted 2 wines. It is cool in the tunnels but blankets are available. Great fun, great information and an amazing place to be.

Me and my fiancée had a wonderful tour in Khareba. We came on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, and were lucky enough to get a private English tour, leaded by the guide Tavari. She was very patient, gave in perfect English a lot of explanations about the establishment and the wines we were tasting, and on top of that she made us pretty much a whole photoshoot inside the cellar, and outside during the Masterclasses. We also loved the masterclasses, the lady who taught us was very nice and patient. We absolutely loved the whole experience, everything was perfect. We payed 55 GEL for a 4 wines tasting + chacha + the masterclasses of bread, khinkhali and katchapuri + all the food we cooked + barbecue. A wonderful experience and an amazing cost/benefit. We also bought 3 bottles of very good wine for a very reasonable price. Yesterday we went to Shumi (another winery in the area), we spent a lot more money there for about half the hospitality and half of the taste of Khareba. If you have to choose only one winery, just go for Khareba.
