The building itself is definitely worth a visit. Really cool.
Though the exposition is somewhat disappointing. Hardly any English information is provided which restricted the exposition to look at pictures of Ilia Chavchavadze and his family. The exposition in the house at the back and the garden are more impressive. The wine cellar is still in use.

This palace has undergone a big renovation job and is looking in reasonable condition, though signs of wear are beginning to show. The grounds are beautiful and include a labyrinth, shady walkways and small cafe around the back.

The complex includes museum that has a lot of 19th century photos and a few personal effects; defensive tower where Ilia was born during Lezgin's rampaging in the area; and a family home that has only three rooms and much smaller than attached winner (marani).
House is located on the square in the city center just near other attractions of Kvareli.
Entrance charge was 1 GEL and English speaking guide was available.
