The waterfall is nice with a small cave with bats. Its is nice to visit and it is in the way to Agua Azul, so you can stop for an hour to view the scene and refresh and then continue to Agua Azul.

Well worth a visit. It was crawling with locals when we went, so it wasn't quite the idyllic scenario some have described, but it is a very pleasant setting. Next to the falls there are cabins for rent and a restaurant; however, other than the falls, there seems to be very little to do in the area. Tip: combine this... More

None of the tourist nonsense that you get at Aqua Azul. Misol Ha is a quiet and beautiful waterfall. The underside of the falls almost look like a Japanese Garden as there are unique streams and fountains popping out from everwhere. Stunning!

We hiked all the way to the top and paid extra $10 pesos per person to see the cascara in the cave. Although I didn't care for the smell (the cave has lots of bats), but my 12 and 9 year olds loved the little adventure! My 2-year-old was a little freaked out by the darkness though, even with me... If have a car or rent a car, this is a nice stop. It's a pretty waterfall, but not much to it. We were on a tour and had 30 minutes here. Some people were hiking while others just ate at the restaurant. I was so car sick from our crazy van driver and the windy road from San Cristobal... More

Take your time and enjoy these beautiful falls! There's a walkway that leads behind the falls--fun, but expect to get wet!You can continue to walk past the falls to the other side of the pool if you'd like, but it was really slippery so we opted not to. There are signs warning about the dangers of swimming below the falls,... More

Impressive drop and dip in the waters below the fall is very welcome. Walking through the grotto behind the fall is another wonderful way to cool down on a hot afternoon However, beware the double entry fee. We bought what we thought was the ticket only to find that we had been charged by landowner to cross a 100 yards... More

The same day with Agua Azul, you have to visit Misol Ha! You can also swim under the waterfall!! Great experience, so you need your swimming suit and your towel!

The same day we went to Agua Azul, we also visited Mishol-Ha. Again, in the rain, so it did not matter where the water came from. The uniqueness of this place is that you can actually walk behind the falls and look through the drops into the pool. Neat

it is great, specially if you go behind the fall. you'll get soaked but since it tends to be very hot all year round, you'll welcome the cooling n be dry in no time.
