This doesn't compare to Agua Azul, but it can be a nice hour or so spent relaxing and swimming. There were plenty of howler monkeys when we visited.

It's a nice place to stop at if you're going from Palenque to San Cristobal (or vice versa), but not really special enough to visit just for the waterfall. I would say 20 minutes is enough, unless you decide to get into the water.
