The prices are ridiculous for a simple beach. We paid a 2000 Naira per person gate fee. Then entering they add on an extra 200. We were then escorted to a restaurant. The food was overpriced and the portion sizes were small. They also charge you for sitting at their table. Stay away from the horse riders. They told us it would be 500 Naira to take a photo with the horse then when it came time to pay they charged us 5000. There are many hawkers on the beach selling things and they bother you every five minutes. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time, find another beach because everything at this beach costs money, you won't be able to swim, and you definitely won't have any privacy.

Located somewhere in the within the emerging frontiers of Lagos Mega city, specially close to the Lagos Trade Free Zone, lies the Eleko beach, one of the most serene beaches of the tropical rain forest. If you are in need of a place where you can hang out with your young family, away from the 'madness' of Lagos Mega city, then think Eleko beach. The kids will love the experience and will not forget it in a hurry. At Eleko beach, you will be amazed as both the young and the old mill around in careless abandon while the world seem to have come to a standstill. Though the beach is in need of care from climate change, you will be amazed at the natural richness of this tropical wonder

Here you can try the best suya. A year ago, the beach was cleaner, a lot of garbage. A lot of people gather in the afternoon

Have been here for more than 5 times. Enjoyed every time. Suggest to visit in groups to enjoy more. You can hire a cottage and take it for an afternoon and leave before evening. you will get some local arts and crafts sold on the beach. you can have horse ride, a camel ride. Enjoy the coconut water and also buy some goods fish and fresh prawns.

How would you consider security and parking at the beach?

On a scale of 5, I would give 3 for security and 4 for parking. You will find lot of public during holidays, where the locals will jump to provide you services, sell the stuff, which will make a little awkward situation. Parking space is completely private and okay. During off season, the place is more lonely.
How much is the gate fee during public holiday? Are we allowed to bring in food and drinks? Please a description on how to get there from Ikorodu using public transport.
