You either need to be a Camino Walker or have a car to Visit lovely little chapel and it is not very well sign posted from the nearby roads It is very small and simple inside, but amazing to think it has survived a thousand...More

On the Camino Aragones, just before joining the Camino Frances, this octagonal Romanesque church can be visited, for a mere €1,50. If you're anywhere close, just go!

The church is small but has some good history to it. There was no one there working when I went by while hiking the Camino de Santiago. The church is from the 12th century so I can only imagine all the history in this place.

Minimalist architecture in this romanesque church. The building is small, but bears the weight of centuries. The windows are alabaster. Enjoy the small courtyard and cloister.

A fine church outside of Muruzabal. Particularly interesting for its unique design. Originally a funeral chapel, it sits away from the town center and is a peaceful place to visit.

Just a few kilometers outside pamplona. Probably about 25 minutes, I suppose. Out in the middle of a field with a pilgrim hostal next door. Not a whole lot to look at, really, though extremely interesting from an architectural/historical standpoint. Stopping point along the Saint...More

The seclusion & quiet of this Church is in part of what made it special in addition to its history. I thought it was worth our energy & time to visit.
