A museum that perfectly reflects the thinking of its author and shows the clash between industrial civilization and nature in a very creative way.

The visit of this Museum as well as the way there –by foot– was just a great surprise as well as a very good experience! The Museum itself –if you do not know Fluxus well just like I do– may seem quite absurd, but its...More

This museum was part of our tour and I went in completely ignorant of Vostell, his work and his movement (not that I'm proud of this, but we all have different taste!) The museum was full of interesting artwork, Vostell's pieces and artwork by other...More

Wolf Vostell Museum boasts two exhibition halls packed with contemporary art masterpieces. The ambience of this place is one of a kind. Highly recommended for everyone! The museum is surrounded by huge nature park with enormous stones. There were even dozens of storks everywhere in...More

If you want to be surprised by art, architecture and environment at the very same moment, Museo Vostell is the place to be, or to go. The combination of the three ingredients makes this a very special place.

We drove out here from Caceres on the recommendation of our apartment owner and it was well worth it. The museum was free for jubilados (65+) and full of weird stuff, all very conceptual. The pity was there was a strict ban on photography inside...More

We had headed out this way to walk, enjoy the countryside and spot storks. We were drawn to the cafe/restaurant at Museo Vostell but the museum was breathtaking and will last long in the memory. The art is mostly sculpture (if that's the right word)...More

..... But we are still talking about the exhibits days after our visit. The art, exhibits, installations are certainly varied and open to opinion but none are boring. Everything is housed in the most impressive buildings and walking out from the first building onto the...More

We were recommended Museo Vostell by a Caceres local. The museum is 12km out of town, located amongst spectacular granite speckled rolling hills. We were lucky to have a to die for sunny spring day, where lunch outside in the cafeteria was a delight in...More

Many good pieces from Vostell and other Fluxus-related artists. The guided tours are a must; they're included in the admission fee and are sure to impress all, adults or even children. The building and the surroundings are also worth the visit on their own right.
