Great "pueblo mágico" That I would recommend anyone go to. Since the government has been creating many of these throughout the country, the investment is paying dividends to locals and tourists. This magic town captures the essence of their name of "Manzana" (apple) and brand the area as such from monuments to drinks and food. Much to do for families and couple's, plenty of walking to do if you are up for it. Parking can be a bit hard to find on the weekends but it is well worth it. Lots of food, shopping, wine and more. Beautiful art along the way, as well!

These unique tiled murals are fascinating and breathtaking, stretching throughout the city for blocks and blocks, and reflecting the ongoing collaborative efforts of many local people. It was one of my favourite things I have seen in Mexico to date—just spectacular. And the people working on the murals were so friendly, wanting to discuss their art, letting tourists contribute to the murals, and asking for input on an international mural they have in the works.
Don’t think that the mural stretching around the cemetery is the only one—it is just the beginning of this incredible artwork.

The murals are beautifully done and go in for quite a way. This one is across the street from a breathtaking view, and the mirador. We were fortunate and a man was playing the pan flute. I could have stayed here for hours admiring the beauty of the murals!

This place is just full of stories, take your time to observe the murals which depict part of Zacatlan's history. The murals were made by a local artist. You can find his daughter inviting you to visit and greet him near the new murals that he is currently making. Don't forget to visit the handcrafts market just beneath the murals.

The art is cool, but is nothing exceptional. Mostly religious-themed (must be because is on a cemetery).

Both the new murals and the old ones are very beautiful, it is worth it because it is walking next to the ravine and it is free, you can stop by at any time.
