Amazing views absolutely breathtaking good place for a walk that's not to overcrowded. Would reccomend if your after a good walk I know my family loves to go to longridge fell in the snow would definitely reccomend
A totally unexpected but outstanding view from the roads which cross the top of Longridge Fell, either back towards Longridge and Preston, down into the Ribble Valley, all the way to the Lake District on a clear day and over the Trough of Bowland.
Can be very busy with walkers, driving up can be ok but park to take in view can be difficult. I certainly would suggest you make a special journey to see this from any distance, however for visitor to the area nearby its well worth...More
I've hacked around the fell all my life and the views are spectacular . At one point you can almost see 360 degrees . Shame the little ice cream shop isn't still there , that was there when I was a child !
