The Trafford centre is one of my favourite shopping centres to visit. There are lots of different car parks to park in and it's free which is even better. The food court is amazing and had a brilliant selection of food outlets whether you're looking...More

We were there last week, not having been there for about 15 months, arriving about 5pm and immediately noticed the lack of crowds. Where were all the shoppers? Meadowhall in Sheffield at about the same time is always far busier. Much the same as before...More

We visit the Trafford centre on a regular basis, we always like to make it a family day out rather than just shopping, there is lots to do here and always very clean and tidy

A huge shopping mall with almost every kind and brand shops. The food court is massive and spoils you with choices. The interesting thing I found they have phone charging in secured locker outside toilet area. The parking lot is huge and convenient.

I was told that the Trafford Centre is actually not a public space, that it was private and has its own security team. I wasn't aware of this – is it to keep out undesirables etc? I can see that there are no beggars or hawkers there, and wondered if this was what the security was there for.

Who are the ladies in the paintings on the walls in the Upper Mall – are they real people? Also, someone told me that the original developers of the Trafford Centre are shown in other images/paintings in the Trafford Centre... any idea who they are and where those painting can be seen?
