Of course it's best to take a rental car if you go there, but it is even possible to get to Kruszyniany by bus from Białystok. The mosque itself is worth a visit for sure, you shouldn't miss the cemetery either. The restaurant on the opposite side of the street offers you Tatar food and a nice, cheap cup of... More

There are not so many muslin people and not too many mosques (less than 10) in Poland so definitely its worth to visit the one in Kruszyniany. Especially that it is the place for prayers of Tatars. Its wooden & green - interesting :) Not so far away (3min walking) from the temple there is the Tatars' cementary. I recommend... More

I visit sokolka atleast once a year and am a muslim so i wanted to visit this mosque. If you are a muslim they do not charge you for a short sit down and lesson of tartar muslims in poland. While i was there most of the vistors like myself was from within the e.u. It is nice to see... More

its maybe not reason enough to come from far away but if you are plus minus 50 km then it is a must you must talkk with the guide to find it fascinating though, without teh history and all teh stories it loses much if its charm

History to learn, stories to hear. Not too often can you have a chance to visit a mosque in this part of Europe. Tatars are a strong and proud community. Not excellent since the guided tour was a bit rushed. Still - very enjoyable and insighful.

A must-see place in Podlasie as theres only two mosques in Poland. The guide was super nice and funny and we got to learn lots of interesting things about Tatars. The mosque was very beautiful and we loved the atmosphere. Everyone should also go to U Dżennety - AMAZING food, decor and waitresses.

Interesting building and good explanation provided by a local tatar. Do not forget to go visit the cemetery up the gravel road. The renovation of this mosque and recognition by EU gave a welcome boost to the local economy. If you visit this area, go check out the Tatar restaurant near it and go see "the end of the world"... We went on an arranged visit this place on a business trip to Sokolka. We meet one of the local TaTar villagers who gave us a guided tour of the Mosque & told us about its history & that of the TaTars etc....All very interesting. We were then taken for a traditional banquet at the Tatarska Jurta restaurant just opposite.... More

If you're in Białystok or somewhere nearby I recommend finding three hours and visiting Kruszyniany. Entrance to the mosque is paid (8 pln per adult, 5 for children) but it includes a tour guide, who is will tell you all about his religion and customs. It's really interesting and so different that you will not be bored! Tour includes visit... More
