Gates are lit up for Christmas and the soldiers are always on duty, never mind the weather! You pass the place on your way to Semsvannet.

This lookout is reached by quite a steep walking track from Semsvannet lake. However, the walk is worth it as on a clear day you can see from Holmenkollen in the hiils behind Oslo, right down to the city, and then to the fjord.
