We are travelling upstream as we are headed towards Belgrade. There is a vista point pull over so you can see the face. Since, we are on the Serbian side, across the Danube river, it is hard to judge the size of this statue.

It's amazing to see the scale of it! It's too bad they could not fully complete it but it is wonderful to behold

Impresive view! It must be seen at least once in a lifetime. The trip with the boat is also exciting!

The opportunity to see the Statue of King Decebalus must not be missed. We had a great boat trip from Orsova on the Danube.

This sculpture is a must see if you arrive in this part of Romania. It is indeed a big sculpture and very imposing. Highly recommend to book a boat tour to see it.
