A must to visit place especially to take along your children. Needs a little modernisation but still deserves a review and visit.

The entire building and science museum looked more furnished, clean and well-maintained than before. I found that Help Desk officers were busy helping visitors actively.

It was my favourite place during childhood
I used to spend my whole evening here. It has good information on life science . The gallery that is newly made is just awesome

District science centre purulia is one of the main attraction of Purulia.It is situated in Lake road about 1.5 km from purulia railway station.It is an exhibition of scientific phenomenon.Idols of many scientists are established outside the main building.Local culture of Purulia is also flashed here.

A nice science center built in Purulia for children as well as adults.There are a few interactive galleries and the the 1 acre premises is a must visit after you are done with Saheb Bundh!!

There were a large number of modern scientific instruments, botanical inventions and science-games inside the huge observatory of this science-centre. There were students from different schools and colleges who had been visiting this spot.

This is a smaller version of science city of Kolkata. They encourage people to science in some insteristing way. They also have a smaller version of birla planetarium.

This used to be a good place once and I used to visit here every Sunday when I was a kid. Recently, it's going to the dogs for the lack of maintenance and staff members. They've completely ignored the animal facility and the science equipments are in a pathetic shape. I wonder why they've stopped all the electrical switch displays from action and made them like still models. There is definitely a lot to do and trust me, this place will once again come into life. Though children will love the gardens and stuff but it's boring compared to what it used to be. To be frank, I feel sorry watching my childhood place degrading contemptuously
