The opportunity to see an artist's work as they curated it is always preferable to a museum setting. Carl Milles' villa and garden filled with with large statues (many with water features) is impressive and one gains a better appreciation of his artistic vision through...More

Breathtaking garden with art and interesting history, very well signposted and informative. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wonderful lunch at the restaurant... tip: be prepared you have a very steep walk to get to the museum from the tram stop, but totally worth it!More

Very nice sculptures but quite pricey for what it is. Essentially a large expensive house with sculptural art inside and out. Other gallery's do run here which were great.

This is a nice place where you want to come to relax, enjoy the sculptures, perhaps sit on a bench and just think for a while. We were here a big family together and it was also nice, but different ;-) The kids (7 and...More

I spent some nice hours in the park and in the house of the artist Carl Milles at Lidingö Stockholm. It's nice park with a lot of sculptures and flowers and trees. In the month of may it's a perfect mix of everything. Just sit...More

There is a discount for students (120 instead of 150), but that is still too high for what is offered. Space 1 offers Danish girl (but tomorrow is the last day) exhibition, not too interesting. Space 2 (artists' workspace) offers sculpture collections and clothes belonging...More

I've been in Stockholm probably 100 times but never in Millesgården before. What a place! I absolutely loved the location, exhibitions, cafe - all of it. The Danish girl exhibition was super good.

Superb coffee shop/cafe. Food looked delicious, we only sampled coffee and cake but both were of high quality. The exhibition was well worth the wait. My partner and I absolutely loved trying in the 1920s attire!!

We loved - make that LOVED - every minute of our all too brief visit to Millesgarden. You simply will not believe the art work until you see kit with your own eyes - incredibly delicate and yet so powerful and strong. A definite MUST...More

Always a wonderful experience to visit Millesgarden. But be aware! Do not take your lunchbrake at the popular restaurant just Before the guided tour. You will find it just too crowded, which really is a shame. Do take your time, make sure to visit the...More

Are the outdoor terraces accessible after closing hours? I would not be able to visit before 5 p.m. and wondering if I could still visit the outdoor sculptures after closing. Thank You

It's nice to visit during the dark winter/christmas time, when the sculpture park is lit by lamps and spotlights.

Is it possible to visit Millesgarden outside only? I'm not really a fan of museums, but the garden looks interesting.
