Temple is known for its mythological importance. But some people have made faith and religion as business. Touts are everywhere, starting from a black thread to a piece of metal everything they want sell in the name of Shanidev. Horrible people.

I visited this auspicious temple and had the most pleasant experience. The process of offering one's respect and do a puja is very simple. Most worshippers offer sesame oil which is sold in shops outside (I had carried mine from home) and others choose to add flowers, a black cloth etc. which are sold in a "dali" in the shops... More

This is a very famous temple of Shani Bhagvan 65 kms from Shirdi towards Ahmed nagar . There would be a lot of share jeep / tempo available from Shirdi . They charge you around 120 per person for to and fro to the temple . ST buses are also available to reach there . This is a must visit... More

2 hours and 30 minutes travel by road from Shridi. The temple is open 24 hours. The village houses have no doors. That is a special tourist attraction. On the way to Shridi, fresh sugarcane juice crushed in small mills driven by bulls is famous.

When you go near the temple many people come around you and they say to buy pooja samagri at very high rate. Be aware of those people. I just bought oil for Lord Shani.

Went to this place from Shirdi and took us around 1.5 hours by cab. It was not very crowded on a Sunday, but was told it will be crowded on Saturdays. There are agents everywhere trying to take you to their shops for parking and keep slippers etc. Avoid them. Its not needed. There is paid parking place opposite the... More

Going near the shrine is not allowed only pouring oil into a pumping system which pumps oil over the shrine...... More

Be careful as shop keepers behaviour is worst and cabbi's have deals with them and if you don't buy anything then that including cabbie... More
