This seems to be on every tour agency's agenda. I would not recommend this as being part of your top 6-7 places to visit. It's expensive, and what you get is fairly limited. R$40 per person to enter, another R$40 to go snorkeling (most in the dark and you really don't see anything - the best part is right in front where you start), R$20 for a 15 second zip line experience. Swimming is just okay. There are many better places in the area to swim. And then they get you for the food you eat there. The attendants were okay, but I didn't feel all that special. It would have been worth it for about a third of the total cost, but I felt it was the weakest link of our five days there. It sounds great on paper, but I felt it failed to deliver. Even the famed blue grotto is pretty lame I felt, but perhaps with bright sunshine during the one hour of the day with direct sunlight it is pretty, but.....

My family and I had a great time swimming in the cave. The water is very clear and you can see lots of fish. The staff was very helpful and the equipment provided was of good quality. It is a great experience when the lights are turned off inside the cave. A must do if you are in Lençóis.

The water was reallly clear and beautiful. This is one of those places you love to see but really only spend about an hour there. We saw it as partof a tour you can get in lencois that hàs you visit about 5 different places in the area that wàs worth every penny. It was rather cheap. You need to be able to climb around 25 steps and maybye a few more if you wwant to explore more.

I don't understand why this cave is so good for other. They take your 3o R$ for nothing! For going down 10 m and make a photo with the cave from outside !. If you want to swim in the cave you must pay another 4o R$ !!! And nobody from the entrance tell you this trick!
6 years ago when I visited this cave , I paid only the entrance for swiming in the cave. Nowdays they cheat you! Take care! You pay 3o R$ to swim in the river deeap 40 cm! Skip it at all. The are other options to swim free of charge:
Mosquito falls and Poco do Diablo.
