I really liked the place. I like the quiet, historic atmosphere. Built after 1215. Free entry. Dogs are welcome. Open any reasonable time during daylight hours. No car park on site. Access from the road via a kissing gate. Very nice view. I recommend.

Hadleigh Castle Ruin, not much else to say except it has wonderful views overlooking Canvey Island, the sea & Kent in the distance.....ideal for a lazy picnic as it’s free.

Yes it's all good for a pushchair. May be a little bumpy in places but generally ok.
