I would have given the Gallery an excellent rating, but it was closed. There was no information about this on the web site or at the entrance and one woman had travelled a long distance to find out it was closed. Fortunately the sculpture park, gift shop and café were open. The park was lovely and a great walk. The... More

We have visited the McLelland Gallery & Sculpture park several times over the last few years and each time there has been more to discover in the grounds. There are several pathways throughout the property which make for enjoyable walks with friends, discovering some remarkable art works and some that others may consider art. It all makes for a pleasant... More

I often take the 2 young children I look after here. They love exploring and discovering new sculptures. On a sunny day it's lovely to take a picnic, sit on the grass and let the kids run around. Otherwise the cafe has a good menu with giant scones.

This is a wonderful place to visit-wander around the grounds and admire the Sculptures-also the Art Gallery. we had lunch with friends in the Café-they have changed their menu since our last visit but the food was just as yummy-their were 8 of us and we all chose different food .Service was excellent.

What a brilliant surprise. I have absolutely no interest in art and sculpture etc but to visit this little beauty you do not need to. The works range from rusted pieces of what look like junk to a few interactive pieces and a collection of fascinating stuff in between. There is a surprise around every corner. A great day out.

We had often commented as we passed the signpost on Peninsula link for the sculpture park,"we must go there one day ". Today we took the turnoff and we're glad we did ! We were welcomed at the reception desk by two lovely ladies who gave us some information about the park. We then enjoyed coffee, tea and 2 enormous scones... More

A wonderful way to spend some time alone or with others wandering through a very natural landscape dotted with unusual inspiring artworks. Unfortunately I visited on a Monday when the Gallery and Cafe are closed.

I am a regular visitor and introduce many to this place. The cafe is good with an interesting menu. The galleries indoors are always good and then there's the outdoor sculpture park, peaceful lake area, bush walk, maze and other art intrigues for the kids and an ideal location for a picnic with free entry, plenty of carparking and on... We visited with three generations and all of us enjoyed this hidden gem. Lots of space for children to run around, interesting artwork in a beautiful bush setting and even a cafe for a cheeky coffee. Take a picnic to make the most of the grounds. The path was good for prams and not steep. Beware of the mosquitos though.... More
