Hired a scooter for three days. Scooter was a Yamaha with just over 4k on the clock. Brought to our hotel but helmets were too small (totally my fault) but lovely girl went back and got us western sized ones.
Scooters are definitely the way to get around in the Philippines - roads can be hit and miss but just go slow and you'll get there.
