We are just up here on our way back from visiting the Pompeii ruins. The caves are amazing and the formations are beautiful. It's underground, so the coolness of the caves made a nice escape from the heat.

Guide did not speak any English (the only negative aspect) but apart from that this was a great cave visit. Lots of cool flow stone features. Enjoyed it.

I visited with my girlfriend and her family in April 2017, and it was a pleasant surprise. The actual caves are somewhat difficult to reach via the roads; at the time there were roadworks with little signposting, which would prove difficult to navigate if you...More

My husband and I spent 1.5 hours driving around and trying to find a way to visit. We aimed at 15:00 but missed it and tried to make 17:00 until we gave up.

Caves are truly amazing. Huge. Boat trip is stunning. However, I would take the cheapest and quickest tour unless you they have an English version if you don't speak Italian. 100 minutes was VERY long when you don't. Check on the website. We made the...More

The underground caves and waterway were fascinating to see. There are several tour options from the "Tourist" tour which we did. This takes about an hour and includes a boat ride down part of the caves. There are several other options that take longer and...More

We did this tour through the USO and we had a great time! The staff at the cave were very friendly. I disagree with the previous reviews about it being dirty and littered! The caves were extremely well maintained and gorgeous. The boat ride was...More

You can get to the caves by train or by bus, but only to Polla. There it will be someone that can pick up you: tell this when you book your visit by mail or by telephone.
