My husband and I went to McReynolds Winery for a wine tasting. It was our second winery stop. As a very small winery, they had only 1 wine available for tasting, (they had sold out of all of their other wine) which was quite a...More

I believe two of the wines are made from the vines on the estate. Tasting room is small but there is a really old piano worth taking a look at. Mostly dry wines are being sampled but they are getting ready to bottle a Muscat....More

Unlike other wineries it is certainly a small family business operation. Great family making this work. Loved the visit but not like the others.

We have made several wasted trips to those mega winery tourist traps out on US 290 East of Fredericksburg. We were ready for an Old School wine tasting and were happy to find the McReynolds winery. This is really a mom and pop operation run...More

Founded by Mac and Maureen McReynolds, their winemaking beginnings actually started off in California. After visiting, learning, and working at various wineries, they purchased their own...More

You won't sample a lot of different wines here, but the hospitality is what really sets this place apart. A small intimate tasting room and you will probably hear all sorts of storytelling here. Really enjoyed the visit and the wine tasting.
