We stopped here on our way to Geiranger. There is a nice, new, guest center with restrooms and a restaurant. There is a walking path that gives you some nice views of the area, or you can follow one of the trails to see more....More

Wow stunning. A real highlight of our 2 week car trip around the Western Fjord region. We took the boat out to Memurubu and started our climb there. Although in our 40s and 50s we are fit and experienced climbers. Having done knife edge ridge...More

I visited Jotunheimen last week and had an appalling treatment from one crew member of Gjende company, which has the monopoly there. Unfortunately, his horrible behavior did a big harm to my whole trip in Norway for no apparent reason but sadism and xenophobia. It...More

Really recommend this hike, the views are amazing. We are a young couple (30s, relatively fit) and it took us 6,5h including breaks. It is demanding - a steep long way up and a bit of climbing (not very hard but you need to use...More

A Must to see if you are in Norway. While the cities and villages are great to see -- go out to the north country and drive this national park. By far the best!

If you love nature, hiking and the feeling of being free and becoming one with nature, this is a fantastic place to visit. I've hiked here with tent and gear for three days and was amazed by the stunning scenery.

We took an excursion off our cruise to see this. The coach made several en-route stops for us to take it all in and take pics. There was a lot of mist n fog on the day which made it all the more beautiful. It...More
