- Anna HStockholm, Sweden25 contributionsSuper fun - but you will be exhausted and sore! ;)A family with 3 kids: 7, 10 and 12 - and we really had a blast!!! So much more fun than a water park with only slides. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean. The equipment is however a bit worn at places, and please note that you can’t bring water or food inside. It was probably the highlight of our 4 w Thailand trip if you ask the kids…Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 14 January 2024
- Voyager4413318 contributionsGreat fun for the kids!Kids 9&12 yo totally loved this place. Spent almost 3 hrs there and they could have stayed much longer. Lots to do. Some caution with the pillow thing where they jump on it and send you flying. My 9 yo got launched crazy high and got a bit hurt. I don’t think I’d recommend it for kids under 13 or so. Otherwise lots of “lifeguards” helping and watching. Seemed pretty safe. No outside drinks or food allowed in. Even water they take away from you. Good way to spend a hot afternoon!Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 29 February 2024
- Nathan L20 contributionsFun waterpark in Chiang MaiCool morning at the water park, we spent 3 hours here and our ticket included a free go on the zip line and life jacket. Loads of obstacle courses and slides, you could easily spend all day here. The pillow launch is awesome and launches you almost to the platform level if two guys jump!! All in all good day out and very easy to get to from Chiang Mai.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 April 2024
- Conor S3 contributionsGreat day out for teenagers if you have a few days in Chiang Mai.Brilliant day out for our teenagers. So much to do and a great cafe for the adults! Zipline and high jumps with lots of kayaks and weird water boats. Easily the biggest inflatable park we have ever seen.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 August 2024

When I went to go ziplining, the most crucial carabiner was not fully closed and the safety was therefore not on. This was the carabiner that attached the entire harness to the line, so without it, you'll fall. I was very lucky that my boyfriend saw it in time, because none of the staff checked it at any point. I could've died on the rocks below.
Other than this bad experience, the Grand Canyon water park is an awesome place where you can easily spend a full day. It's lots of fun for both kids and adults and there are many things you can try, depending on how much of a daredevil you are. Our favourite part was wakeboarding. The instructor is amazing and her English was great. We were able to stand on the board and make turns within half an hour! The wakeboarding is definitely a must-try.
We had a great day in the water park and can definitely recommend it to families, couples, or friend groups alike. Just don't try the zipline :)

Best thing we did in Chiang Mai. 600 baht gives you access to all the inflatable wipeout style obstacles as seen in the photos. You also get a life jacket and a go on the zip line. Shame the zip line isn't into the water, that would be so much more fun! All the pieces were working, but could do with some more handles to pull yourself back up.
Hit the waterslides on the side of the cliff, as well as the 10m cliff dive platform. The trampoline and other activities were cool. Didn't do the wakeboarding this time.
My partner took the kids to the kids area which was fun with slides and a water bucket. The lifeguard was going down the slides, he must have the best job ever!
It was very hot, had a few ice cold beers and some fries in the cafe after. Bit expensive but the EDM club music playing in the background made up for it.
Would recommend for a fun day out, my arms are still sore!

We had the best time at the water park.. we booked it through our hostel and booked the option G2 - transfers / lunch / locker included. So glad we did because we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day it was already sorted!
We arranged to leave at 5pm but we wanted to stay longer so we’re able to change our time to 7 with ease! The staff were all super friendly & the life guards were fab, helping you out the water or pushing you in for a laugh, they were great!
The lunch that was included was really good, large portions and it came with a drink. You also got another beer later on included.
The inflatables were so much fun!! We had such a good day, running around like kids for hours. Cannot recommend this place enough, you’ve defo gotta go if you’re nearby!!

This is a great place to cool off. As expected, most people come in the afternoon when it’s hottest. The water was fine (no one got sick). The inflatables were well loved, but didn’t deter anyone from having fun. There was actually a decent amount of stuff to do. The games really got the attention of my 13 year old and he was determined to win them all. (He won two out of three; he couldn’t seem to figure out the water floater bike thing). There was staff scattered throughout and many of them tried to interact with my son, showing him how to successfully play the games. For the bounce off activity (where you sit at the end of the inflatable and someone jumps down on the other end sending you flying), note that it’s typical that the staff do the jumping. I didn’t know that and was the jumper. They will let you though. Poor communication resulted in me not doing it right, so I hurt myself. Boo. Not their fault, but just a heads up if you go on the activity! Overall, was a great place to go.

I think that this water park is quite average in terms of attractions and located in an old quarry. They confiscate your food on entry so that they can sell your the average food of their own restaurants. But the worst is that their lifeguards (who have no means of identification on their uniforms) believe that they can use their positions to solicit and pester adolescents (even children). Very, very tacky. Avoid at all costs.

I took my 2 kids here for a day as they advertised a special price through Facebook page. It is a big area but some of the inflatable track were unable as they had detoriorated and not been repaired but with not many people there we used was inflated and had fun. The kids enjoyed the tower with the slides and jump spots. Better for older kids.

The pictures dont do this place justice, its huge and has every type of play thing you ever wanted. Water is nice, property clean. Realize how tired you will get, 2-3 hours of play time is all you can handle, unless you are under 20.

We very nearly went into the wrong one next door called Grand Canyon Chiang Mai (don't go to that one!).
Really big water park with lots of inflatables. You have to wear a life jacket so you're safe. Lots of food areas and they do nice food for an reasonable price.
Only down side was some of the inflatables need some maintenance. If you fall in the water you can either wait for a lifeguard to pull you up or climb out via a ladder, but lots of the ladders were broken making it hard work!
Tonnes of slides, a zip line and the opportunity to do wake boarding.

Please could you let me know entrance cost and opening hours
Written 31 January 2020
Hi there,
Sorry for the delay, they open 9am- 7pm every day, cost 650 THB per person no need to book online, kid under 90-100cm free (I forgot the exactly height). If you decide just to go hang out not to play they charge 100THB per person for entrance fee but they give 50THB coupon discount on food and drink, nice bar (we love bucket cocktail 400THB to share with 4 people) and restaurant is good too. Kid pool is great and fun also. We love it there and could play all day long they are no time limit.

Are activities like SUP, kayaking, cliff diving and more in the entry price included or do you have to pay extra for this?
Written 8 November 2019
not sure but you can take Tuk Tuk there. Around 25-30 mins.
Written 26 June 2019
Hi, Can you pre-book this or do you just turn up. And how far out of Chiang Mai is it?
Many thanks

Is this still Open? People are saying since oct 2016 only one jump open now??
Written 7 January 2017
There are 2 different different operations here.
One that had/has the cliff jump. This is where all the problems and accidents have been happening and has closed and reopened several times.
There is a second park with an inflatable floating play area among other things that is well run and many safety precautions have been taken. To the best of my knowledge they've had no serious accidents. This is open and in full operation.

If you want to go, hire a songtiow (red truck) for about B500 roundtrip. Be careful at the canyon.

Bonjour,
