Awesome fun experience
Feb 2020 • Friends
We had visited the Phuket Trick Eye Museum during our sightseeing in old Phuket town. We had booked vouchers through Klook and collected tickets at the entrance. We had previously visited the Trick Eye Museum in Pattaya and similarly this one too was a great fun experience. There were many interesting 3D arts on the walls and we had a great time clicking interesting pictures as we walked in through the entrance till the exit of the museum.

Creative arts and friendly services

The staff who served me referred as NLA was helpful as she guided me throughout the tour around the museum. It would have been a more enjoyable experience if she can communicate more with tourist. Nevertheless, fascinating and innovative arts were quite captivating and indications on where to stand and where to take photo were quite clear.

A cool place to kill an hour
Mar 2020
This is a cool little museum, full over weird art that when photographed the right way looks very cool.

The service here was very good. I was a solo traveller and one of their staff came through with me and took any photos that I wanted. If you are taking photos with most of the artworks, it's probably going to take you at least an hour to get through.

Expensive and poorly designed
Jan 2020
Great idea, but there are much better ones in the world. About US$20 for adults and that may include most of your kids as they use a height scale not an age scale. When you get to what is clearly the front entry point and then realize you have to walk around the corner from there to buy an actual ticket, you get your first inkling that this place was not well thought out. Amateur paintings that look like they were drawn by high school students, they fail in most areas in their main purpose, i.e. to include YOU in the artwork. Certainly no Photographer was ever involved in its planning. Firstly the paint used is inexplicably gloss instead of matt, so the poorly placed lights cause reflection issues in almost every shot. But that's not all, in shots where you are supposed to include yourself the defined area you are supposed to stand in is not lit at all, ruining the whole effect! They also have no idea about the color temperature of different globes used, so instead of replacing them with standard color throughout that a camera can understand, like say 3200 or 5600 Kelvin, there are random globes everywhere meaning tourists unknowingly are getting orange and/or blue tints introduced to their photos. Just to top it off, a place that is completely empty except for some paint on the floors and walls is absolutely FILLED with security cameras, many of them placed right in the shot people are wanting to take! This is just absolute amateur hour, the Thai can do much better than this

Overpriced but might be more worth it for teens/families

Overpriced for what you get inside. We walked out glad we’d seen it what was inside (knowing we would have regretted and wondered if we hadn’t gone) but definitely felt it was overpriced. We were in and out in an hour. Be ready to pose!

It was an amazing experience! I met others who were from Philippines and we had a blast! The tour guide was amazing and he even went out of his way to take some amazing photos! I highly recommend. The tour guide also took us to a secret spot where we were able to get an amazing view of Phuket!

A fun afternoon
Jan 2020 • Family
A fun couple of hours. And lots of fun taking the photos. The lights do reflect on some of the displays making the photos not as good. Remember to take your bags off for the photos. A little pricey being 500 baht but lots of fun so worth it. Kids and teenagers will love it. It’s pretty good that they have displays to show you where to stand for the best photos.
