We paid £25 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) to drive to a car park, walk 5 minutes to a small waterfall (even in monsoon season with plenty of water) look and walk back. It's a nice enough waterfall, but there are far better in the...More

We travelled the south-side of Phuket today, and visited 'Bang Pae Waterfall'. Absolutely spectacular; but remember to take $200 baht, to be allowed access to this beautiful landmark.

We combined this with a visit to the Gibbons Rehabilitation Project. There is a small fee, but we still felt it was worth it as the waterfall was nice and we enjoyed our trip there.

You have to pay 200b each person. None of the money goes to the gibons you can see / visit there aswell. The hike to the waterfall takes around 10 minutes but you can't actually swim there. Wasted half day for this, wouldnt recommend.

After spending an hour in the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project Centre the waterfall is a nice 20min walk up the hillside to a peaceful & surprisingly cool little waterfall. Worth the short trek

The trail starts fairly straightforward but then becomes challenging. Wear good shoes.
