A wine taste expirience mixed with the wonderful art collection from Berardo's. You will see where wines go old and how Moscatel is made. Combine your visit our upgrade it to 6€ and you will have access to the place visit. A nice plan for 2h with amazing view, art and wine all together!

Interesting place to visit with an excellent museum focusing very much on the tastes of the owner. The winery is extensive, although you don't get to see the wine being made, there is a wine tasting at the end.

Really enjoyed what started out as a three wine tasting before lunch and turned into at complimentary tasting of some of their finest productions. Left with two of their amazing wines for a fraction of what we'd pay in New York. Beautiful tasting room surrounded by impressive sculptures. Top notch!

Like the Bacalhoa palace, most or the visit is about art, not wines. The group was too large, the guide was rushing a bit throught it. The cellars were interesting but even there we spent more time talking about the art rather then the wine and wine making. The wine tasting part, you had to wait 20min just for the... More

Great tour. Quite an interesting history of the people rites. The wine at the end was delicious, as well. Portuguese wines are very good!

A perfectly well kept, luxury winery, where almost everything is surprising. One will find not only a well organized winery, but also a museum of exceptional quality, as well as friendly and professional guides to the premises? A breathtaking experience!

We visited Bacalhoa winery along with Jose Maria da Fonseca winery. These are two of the foremost Muscatel wineries in the Setubal region, both located near each other in the town of Azeitao, about an hour drive south of Lisbon. We had arranged ahead of time for a private tour and tasting at Bacalhoa but when we arrived we decided... More

We appreciate your comments to visiting the Bacalhôa wines, in Azeitão. The Bacalhôa has, in addition to good dessert wines, wines from virtually all regions of the country, and a heritage of works of art in various museums in their spaces for wine tourism. We hope to be able to show you in a next visit. Best regards More

We visited this winery as part of the Happy Travels Azeitao Private Experience. Your interest is piqued the minute you see the entrance and grounds. Many items of interest. The half barrel storeroom is surreal where you are surrounded by historic Portuguese tiles as well as the barrels in a darkened room. The wine tasting was back to reality. Viit... More

We visited the Quinta and Palácio da Bacalhoa, were we had a glimpse on the way the Bacalhoa wines are produced. We also saw a bit of the origins of the Bacalhoa farm & estate origins. There was a great review of part of the private art collection of Mr. Comendador José ("Joe") Berardo, major share holder of the company.... More

Good place to visit and enjoy a good wine. It's a good experience and for me the best wines from Setubal region are there. Really nice place to visit.
