I finally visited the Motor Museum at Whiteman Park for the first time and was very impressed by the large collection of memorabilia on display. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic about the museum which was great to see. I think anyone with a passion for cars or motors will really appreciate it while anyone else visiting the park... My Friend was at the entrance wondering if $10 was worth it, the moment we got in we knew it was worth more than the ticket price. There were so many old motorcycles and even 1920s electric car, even an old Peugeot diesel well again of time !! Being a motorcycle enthusiast as well as owning a range of cars... More

Very interesting, all volunteers (keep it going). Though it is mostly catagorised in what was available in WA to show in a museum and the world's most complete range in car history (which can't be expected from a WA museum - imagine the costs of this), it was very interesting and they DO have a large range of interesting classic... What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. See the cars your Dad or your Grand Dad used to drive. Great colection, well done Whitman Park.

Visiting the wildlife park, I noted the Motor Museum and decided to have a look around. Wow! What a surprise. The variety or items in this museum and the displays were really good and it certainly gave one a view into motoring in WA over the last century or so. I understand that it is run by volunteers and I... More

Discovered the museum as we were touring the Swan Valley, and my partner and his brother were very keen, being car enthusiasts. Volunteer's there do a wonderful job, and were very friendly. Was impressed that they had some really unique items and all were in fabulous condition. Would be very hot in there in summer though!

If you're a car enthusiast or like history, this place is amazing. There are so many cars, push bikes, motorbikes, some with sidecars, model cars, historic car paraphernalia that you need at least an hour here. The $10 entry is very reasonable and I got $2 off by having the This Week in Perth or equivalent discount voucher. Well worth... More

Set in the heart of Whiteman Park, the Motor Museum of Western Australia showcases a historic display of cars, motorbikes and even some bicycles. The cars receive the upmost care, polished and refined to their younger glory by the lovely volunteers and workers. The shed is jam-packed with mementos, and features a small car to play in for the young... More

Excellent museum, but not that many actual cars. Heaps of motor bikes and even bicycles. The amount of model cars was overwhelming. Very cramped - but hopefully have a 2,000 sq meter extension in 12 months. They can easily fill this.
