Mario Gallery is a small place with a collection of characters from a cartoon and they also had small paintings of the comic, along with that some magnets of places in India. They barely even had any stock of the characters and the staff were not keen to help customer. They seemed to be saying go to other shop. Not even listening.

The place was over priced and not in sync with the artefacts that we wanted to take back to Delhi. Unfortunately, there are no sales staff here; so, at times , it is difficult to understand some products. Didn't like the place at all. It's not for families but youngsters, I would say...

This is a gallery dedicated to the art of the very famous and much-loved Goan artist, cartoonist and writer, Mario Miranda. We came here on our last day in Goa, drawn by online photos of the life-size models of characters based on Mario’s drawings. Stepping through into a small garden, lawn on either side, flowers around and a delightfully quirky model of a bread man on a bicycle ahead, we were looking forward to lots more models.
Unfortunately, the bread man is now the only full-size model to be seen at the Mario Gallery. All the others, said one of the employees at the gallery, had been shifted to other locations, in Calangute and elsewhere. The Mario Gallery is now almost wholly devoted, instead, to selling souvenirs of Miranda memorabilia. And what a mind-boggling collection this is! T-shirts, scarves, laptop bags, clutches, wallets, posters, post cards, tins, coasters, books, fibreglass models (these are really gorgeous), and so on. All reproduce Mario’s work in different forms: his most famous characters; scenes of life in Goa, Paris, etc; his depiction of the history of Goa; and so on. Prices range from a couple of hundred rupees to a few thousand, depending on what you buy.
An absolute must-visit for a lover of Mario Miranda’s talent, though I was very disappointed that only one of the life-size models is still here. And yes, we picked up plenty of gifts for friends and family we know love Mario!

An ardent admirer of Mario Miranda, I wasted no time to go to this gallery in Candolim and my my what a treasure house it is. It's such a fun place..The mundane life of the common man in Bombay n Goa has been celebrated through the work of this great artist. You an buy hundreds of things.. Fridge magnets,t shirts, mugs, prints of his art work and what not. Don't feel like buying..that's fine too.The 2 girls at the counter are very helpful and patient..A visit to this place is a must.

A very well maintained and neatly kept outlet for all memorabilia of the legendary Mario. Jovito, is a splendid employee who patiently guides through the myriad of options. It’s the head office of six outlets and specific orders can be placed.

I would call it a store rather than a gallery or museum. Spread across 2 floors, this place has a lovely collection of Mario paintings in different formats - canvas, paper, tiles, bags, coasters, mugs, T shirts etc.
Enjoyed seeing the lovely paintings.

We bumped into this place quite by accident. They have a wonderful collection of Mario De Meranda - the cartoonist's artwork in all the forms you can think of. T shirts, coasters, cards, purses, clutches, mugs, keychains, stoles, paintings, you name it........
A very good place to pick gifts for friends and family.
Flea market and Old Paris are my personal favourites.
They have options where you can place the order and they could customise it for you and send it to your address.

A beautiful collection of one of goas finest artists. Lovely magnets, keyrings, T shirts and postcards which bring a smile to your face. 30 minutes in that place and you just feel the high.
