Camp Leakey is one out of three stations we visited on our 3D2N Tanjung Puting Tour. We came in the rain, walked an easy path to the feeding station. On our way, We saw Tom - the alpha male - behind the trees and Siswi - the Queen of Camp Leakey - blocking the path. They were huge, stunning and... More

We did 3 day 2 night tour of Tanjung Puting NP with Harry &Borneo Holidays. Our guide Krishna did a great job with interpreting park, culture, politics etc. A real plus!!! Food good ,sleeping environment on klotok comfortable and all supplies , tea, chairs etc more than adequately provided. Problems with klotok breaking down ,we were shuttled to 4 different... More

This was a bucket list trip. We stayed at the Rimba Eco lodge and used a Klotok boat to travel up to the three feeding stations. You can take a speed boat from Kumai which while faster is v noisy and will destroy almost any wildlife opportunities. The journey from Kumai to Rimba is a relaxing 2 hours and from... More

It is newly built with seats in front of the feeding platform. First some Orang Utans came, then suddenly they were all around us. Also a Gibbon monkey came. Booked this amazing tour with Orang Utan Kalimantan, owner Enno. It was the hottest place on earth... But amazing!!!

” Took a tour with wild orangutan tours – to TanjungPuting park in Kalimantan. 2 of us did a last minute 3d 2n tour with them and we basically booked it over the net. Due to being the high season we didn’t want to take any chances of there not being any available tours there when we arrived as we... More

My boyfriend and i thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Everything went so smoothly from getting in touch with Hanna for info, until to the end of our trip. The Klotok was brilliant and the food cooked for us was so delicious! It was just myself and my boyfriend and we felt like we were looked after so well by the friendly... More

Our visit is unforgettable in Camp Leakey because here orangutans are more friendly and frequently walk or climb trees near visitors. They interact funnily with the rangers. Wild boards also come to eat banana skin during feeding time.

Camp Leakey definitely is the best tourist spot. We can easily encounter orang utan in Cam Leakey. If you are lucky enough you can see Tom, the leader of the orang utan packs and Siswi Tom's wife. When I arrived there, I was very lucky because I could saw Tom and Siswi. They are bigger than my expectation. One important tips... More
