    Relax there
It's a beautiful spot by itself for relaxing and swimming in safe, still waters, notwithstanding that it is touristy and commercial. The main reason to visit is for the small boat ride through the tunnel, out into the open sea. Unfortunately, on the day we visited the sea was too rough, so the boat ride wasn't operating. I could imagine though that it would be an interesting little journey - and it is cheap. There's also some nice walks for views over the coast.

    Great boat trip
We were lucky as the sea was calm enough for a boat ride. The water is incredibly blue, you can see a long way down. Going through the cave was a bit tight, fortunately we made it both ways without getting wet. They only take cash, and they warn you off before going and you pay before you get back to the jetty.

The best part of this is getting out into the sea through a tunnel.
It’s worth taking.
You get to see a stone crocodile on top of the cliffs.

There’s a nice little restaurant as you arrive.

Nice place to visit - boat ride and dip in beautiful sea is a must. Not just a driver's paradise. Boat ride is short but cheap - time flies when you're having fun.

Whilst driving around this part of Gozo, visiting Xlendi we visited the inland sea. It's a large lake of sea water with easy shallow swimming in clear water. Boat trip through the narrow cave out to the sea to see the coral and inky blue colours of the water is worth it. Small boats, lasts for about 30 minutes and cost €4 adult.

The inland sea is something to see whilst visiting Gozo; a few pics, takes only a few minutes, and the fungus rock and a small chapel are there too

Long ago limestone gave way and sea water rushed in. Thus was born the Inland Sea. It's a 4 euro ride to head out into the open waters to look at some rock formations and colours. Life jackets have to be worn. The whole thing last perhaps a half hour from boarding to disembarking.

We did one dive there. You get in the lagoon and then cross an underwater cave to the open sea. The views are magnificent, and the visibility is huge.

You first catch a glimpse of this curious geological feature as you descend the road to Dwejra Bay. We had booked a sunset SUP tour which starts from here but it sadly got postponed before being cancelled due to weather so we only got to experience the Inland Sea from the shore.
