Lovely sandy beach , great for water sports. . Nice to dip your feet in some seaweed could be a problem during winds .

One of our favorite sandy beaches in Malta. It is walking distance from the more popular beach, Golden Bay. The only draw back is the lots of stairs that you have to climb up after a day in the sun. The scenery is great, the beach is nice and if you wait till sunset, you`ll be amazed for sure

Just over 102 years ago (yes, 102) my father was serving in the British Army in Malta for 4 months at the start of The Great War. He was based, with his unit, in a tented camp just above the bay. Ghajn Tuffieha Bay was then known as the 'Soldier's Bay' because when they were off duty they would make... More

Easily reached by the101 bus service from Mellieha. Amazing views of the bay from the nearby cliffs. Walk down the many steps to the nice sandy beach. There is a nice café (Riviera Martinique) at the bottom where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas and also have a nice snack or meal. When it is windy the bay is popular... More

We visited at the end of the day and walked across above the beach - nice views. I would imagine that there wouldn't be much room on the beach as there was little dry sand. It was a pleasant walk.

Wonderful and more private than the nearby golden bay as well as more popular with locals. A little harder to get to but always worth the hike

Stunning view. Took cliff walk from Golden beach. Had to climb down steps to access beach. Some may find hard on the way up! Can be there for hours together. There is a water sports centre, if you wish to try. Cafe offers a quick snack. We went there in late noon. Wish we had been here first rather than... More

What a place to relax, chill and take in the views.. as long as you are relatively fit as the stairs down (more so up!) are plentiful!
