The structure of shelter has striking scale. The one can be lost in this maze easily. The place was obviously vital during the WWII bombing.

This air raid shelter is really interesting, built into the sandstone side. It is long and dark so if you are claustrophobic ..beware!! Well worth a vist.

A very interesting visit to one of several shelters dug out during WW2. around Malta. With medical rooms and private self dug family rooms off of the main corridors. This museum is manned by volunteers.

Whilst in the area popped along to see this interesting WW2 shelter, it certainly gave an insight into the conditions and what the people had to endure during this period.

Great place to get an insight to how the people of Malta suffered during the war at the hands of the Nazi's.
