Travelled to Tenerife for the first time for years, found beer cheap 1.50E a pint (but i don't drink it) but 3.50E for soft drink is ridiculous. Seems the cheap days of a Spanish holiday are over!

The complex was lovely, the pool however was freezing! the bus is available for small change to take you into the local towns, taxi charges vary greatly though.

Mountains, local restaurants providing typical Canarain cooking. Lovely for walkers. Close to all amenities as required.

It's a proper Spanish restaurant and as our friends live over in Tenerife wanted to take us somewhere a bit different. We were not disappointed. We didn't have to book which was great. It was busy... Well I would state that Chayofa is a residential area build on a steep hill. It is not worth the travel. I mean if you go to the Jungle park or want to eat at the tree house you will go through Chayofa but otherwise I do not see any reason to go there.

In my opinion you do need to have a car if you are staying within this area, although there is a bus service and of course taxis! Back again in Chayofa Country Club, and it gets better every time we come. We love this little village, just above Los Cristianos. (5 minutes on the bus that stops just outside complex) The apartment we have (19b) is a 1 bed, has a large sunny balcony with table and 4 chairs plus 2 loungers.Fitted kitchen with large fridge-freezer and...
