A lovely quiet beach with plenty of sunbeds for hire, 2.50 per bed and umbrella (only take card payments) had a laugh with the guy collecting money as he has mantra 2.50 euro, sunbeds and umbrella pack away at 5 o'clock, in the end I told him his lines before he said them to me. Beach is mainly sand, but rocks near the sea and in the sea until you get out a bit. Some good restaurants along the front with our favourite for snacks at lunch La Proa offering good value check out back of the menu. The shopping centre is not what once was, a lot of empty shops, but that is mainly inside and does not distract from the beach. Lots of parking along the road, no need to pay for the car park. We went here most days, a lot nicer than Maspalomas, no beach hawkers and much quieter.

Wandered along the promenade from Maspalomas and ended up here. Nice little spot, good sand if a little rocky in places. A number of small shops & restaurants. There's not a lot going on, but if you like a quiet place to sit and look out over the sea, this would suit you nicely.

Great Beach with a full choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
We used it as we were staying very close in the H10 which was only a couple of hundred metres away.
The beach was supervised from a safety perspective by Red Cross lifeguards.

very confortable beach. Showers, lots of eateries, nice bars. The place is protected from the prevalent winds, so when in maspalonas main beach is too windy, here is always calm. And the fact that is a small beach with no waliking around and lots of restaurants and bars in the back, is nice

It is a small beach located in a small cove in the south of Gran Canaria near the large beach of Maspalomas
I usually go to there because it is very sheltered from the winds that frequently hit the area, it also has a parking lot on the beach with which you can access it almost from the car
It has a small promenade at the foot of the beach with excellent restaurants and shops to buy what you have forgotten, it also has a hammock and parasol service
The water is very clean and clear and the swell is never excessive, the most negative thing is that if you go a little deeper the sand gives way to the stones and the size of the beach is not very big, you should avoid going there on the weekends. when local people frequent it

Unchanged. Still a quiet, mainly family, beach. Most of the rocks cleared from the shore line. Life guard still in place. Small cafe and shopping area active. Sun beds available to hire.

We walked along here on the promenade from our hotel. Beach didn’t look too clean on the day we went and the bars and shops behind looked a bit tired and tatty. Maybe it comes to life in Summer.

Sandy beach, they have cleared lots of stones from the high water line which improves it. Shops and restaurants behind. Not a nudist beach, but certainly topless along the prom wall, and some nudism ‘round the corner’,but discreet and should not frighten your maiden aunt.

Nice beach with good promenade and only 15 mins from Melonares shopping area so well worth walk. Quieter beach than Maspalomas but still has plenty to offer in the way of Restaurants and bars.
Can’t understand a previous review about nudity as in all the visits we made here have never seen that and would consider this to be a family beach 🏖
