We loved this beach :-) Closed to our hotel, shops......etc, and even if it was sand beach mixed with stones, so it was sometimes painful to go to the water...but our daughter enjoyed it, so did we :-D and it wasn't crowded :-)

Great sandy beach with official Croix Roja De Espana Lifeguard on duty. Lots of bars and restaurants and a few shops on the Promenade, all excellent and a great location. Lots of children in the water, so I guess it is as safe as anywhere....More
It’s about a 15 mins walk along the promenade from the El Faro lighthouse.
Clean and nice beach with a touch of volcanic.
A number of shops and cafe bars along the front.
And a great place to watch the sunset.
