This beach is stunning. Although it consists of shingle, it is very fine and looks like sand of a golden colour. Lining it is a very pleasant promenade with small and picturesque hotels and restaurants.

This beach iw very wide and it is reasonably clean. While there you can appreciate the view of the Old Town. As it is usual here, you can find on the beach some free showers.

This beach is very clean and it was quiet at the time of the visit. There were portable toilets in the vicinity - exceptionally clean to use!(5-7 units!) Plenty of fish for snorkeling - beginners or basic.

Has this beach got enough going on, apart from swimming, to keep teenagers amused? In fact how is Tossa de mar in general for families with teens?

I agree with the above thoughts. However, there are boat trips that run from the beach. You can buy your tickets from the booths which are on the beach too. And there is diving too.
